Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with institutional goals and brand guidelines
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, content creation, and SEO optimization
- Manage media relations, press releases, and crisis communications protocols
- Oversee production of multi-channel collateral including newsletters, reports, and promotional materials
- Analyze communication metrics and report on campaign effectiveness to senior leadership
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure consistent messaging across institutional platforms
- Mentor and develop communications team members while managing departmental budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in communications with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in developing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform communication strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft executive-level content
- Experience working in higher education or large complex organizations
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing technologies
