Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy large-scale machine learning models into production environments.
- Collaborate with research scientists to implement state-of-the-art architectures (Transformers, GANs, RL).
- Optimize model training pipelines for massive datasets using distributed computing.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for AI software development.
- Design robust evaluation frameworks to measure model bias, performance, and safety.
- Iterate rapidly on features based on A/B testing and real-time model telemetry.
- Contribute to internal AI ethics and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or data science.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Strong understanding of GPU compute optimization (CUDA, Triton, or similar).
- Proven track record of deploying models that handle high-concurrency production traffic.
- Experience with MLOps best practices, including versioning, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
