Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development of commercial/residential projects from conceptualization to construction documentation
- Conduct client consultations to translate vision into innovative spatial solutions
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and material specifications
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, structural consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, ADA standards, and sustainability protocols
- Mentor junior designers while maintaining design quality and project timelines
- Research emerging materials and technologies to push design boundaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 7+ years of professional experience
- NYC-registered architect license (RA) required
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating award-winning mixed-use or hospitality projects
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with client-facing experience
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and detailing
- Experience managing projects over $5M in construction value
