Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from conceptual sketches to construction documentation
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers and interior designers
- Develop 3D BIM models using Revit and create compelling client presentations
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, ADA standards, and LEED requirements
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging materials and sustainable design methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture with 7+ years of professional experience
- NYC architectural license (RA) required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio demonstrating large-scale commercial/residential projects
- Strong understanding of NYC zoning regulations and construction processes
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and client management skills
- Experience with parametric design tools (Grasshopper) a plus
