Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design development through schematic and construction documentation phases
- Manage client relationships and project timelines while ensuring design integrity
- Integrate sustainable design principles (LEED/WELL) into all project scopes
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and construction teams for seamless execution
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Develop compelling client presentations using 3D modeling and visualization tools
- Research emerging materials and technologies to innovate design solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end architectural practice
- Registered Architect (RA) license mandatory
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating complex residential/commercial projects
- Strong understanding of Chicago building codes and zoning regulations
- Experience with sustainable design certifications (LEED AP preferred)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
