Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural design development from concept to construction documentation
- Develop innovative spatial solutions that balance aesthetic vision with technical feasibility
- Create detailed construction drawings, specifications, and material palettes
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and facade engineering teams
- Manage client relationships and project timelines across multiple concurrent projects
- Conduct site analysis, zoning research, and code compliance reviews
- Mentor junior designers and foster collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive architectural design experience
- NYS Architect license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
