Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Manage client relationships and project timelines from schematic phase to completion
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure structural and MEP integration
- Mentor junior architects and interns while maintaining design quality standards
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new developments
- Stay current with NYC zoning regulations and building codes
- Present designs to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial architecture
- New York State Architect License (RA) required
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino with rendering capabilities
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Demonstrated portfolio of award-winning urban projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and sustainability practices
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
