Responsibilities
- Lead Design Development: Spearhead the architectural design process, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation for high-rise and mixed-use projects.
- Client Collaboration: Present design concepts and technical proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively translating vision into reality.
- Technical Expertise: Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and construction schedules using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Mentor junior architects and interns, conduct design reviews, and manage project timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles and LEED certification requirements into project scopes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Professional Architect license (AIA) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in architectural design, preferably in a senior role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading design teams and managing client relationships.
