Responsibilities
- Lead Design: Take ownership of architectural projects from concept design through to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and creative vision.
- Technical Expertise: Produce high-level drawings, detailed specifications, and 3D visualizations using Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
- Client Liaison: Manage client relationships effectively, presenting designs, handling feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to UK building regulations, planning laws, and sustainability standards (BREEAM).
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge architectural trends and sustainable technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Fully qualified (RIBA Part 3) or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable architectural practice, with a strong portfolio of completed residential or commercial projects.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD) and CAD (AutoCAD), plus rendering tools (SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape).
- Design Capability: Strong understanding of spatial design, materiality, and construction detailing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Proactive problem-solver with strong leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.
