Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate with engineering consultants to ensure seamless technical execution
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client relationships
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design reviews
- Research innovative materials and sustainable building technologies
- Present designs to clients and municipal authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of experience in architectural practice
- Registered Architect license (Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Experience with historic preservation or adaptive reuse projects
