Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for commercial/residential projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants
- Present design concepts to clients and municipal review boards
- Mentor junior architects through project delivery phases
- Ensure compliance with ADA, LEED, and local zoning codes
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation
- Participate in business development and client relations
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture License (NY State or NCARB certification)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino
- Proven portfolio of completed projects $10M+
- LEED AP BD+C or WELL AP certification preferred
- Strong understanding of NYC building codes and ULBC
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills
