Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for NLP tasks, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
- Conduct cutting-edge research to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready APIs.
- Optimize model inference pipelines to ensure low latency and high throughput.
- Present findings at top-tier academic conferences and contribute to the open-source community.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance on complex ML problems.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in research and development of AI/ML systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of publishing in reputable venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.) or releasing widely adopted open-source models.
- Experience with distributed training, hyperparameter tuning, and model compression techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
