Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for NLP and computer vision applications
- Lead quantum neural network research with 50+ qubit systems in partnership with IBM and Google Quantum
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for real-time data processing
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD interns in quantum AI projects
- Secure $1M+ in NSF and DARPA research grants
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum AI prototypes
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years of industry experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Track record of securing federal research grants
