Responsibilities
- Lead research projects in deep learning and reinforcement learning
- Develop production-ready ML pipelines for large-scale datasets
- Author and publish peer-reviewed research papers at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR
- Collaborate with product teams to deploy research prototypes
- Mentor junior scientists and organize internal research seminars
- Secure external funding through NSF/DARPA grants
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of industry research experience in AI/ML
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and distributed computing
- Published record at top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Strong background in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
- Experience with MLOps and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into practical applications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
