Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in generative AI, reinforcement learning, and multimodal systems
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for production-scale applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy AI models with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Publish top-tier conference papers (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and secure patents
- Mentor junior researchers and develop AI curriculum for internal training programs
- Secure $1M+ in research grants through NSF, DARPA, and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top AI conferences with 50+ citations per paper average
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow with production deployment of models serving 1M+ users
- Strong background in transformer architectures, diffusion models, or RLHF techniques
- Proven ability to translate complex algorithms into scalable cloud solutions (AWS/GCP)
