Responsibilities
- Architectural Innovation: Design and implement novel deep learning architectures, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Reinforcement Learning, and generative models.
- Model Optimization: Lead the research, fine-tuning, and optimization of large-scale pre-trained models to achieve state-of-the-art performance on complex benchmarks.
- Production Deployment: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to transition research prototypes into robust, scalable production APIs and services.
- Research Leadership: Author and present high-impact research papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) and actively contribute to the open-source community.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior data scientists and researchers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap, identifying emerging trends and defining the research agenda for the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Deep understanding of neural network theory, backpropagation, and optimization algorithms.
- Experience: Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier venues and successfully deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to formulate complex mathematical problems and derive scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
