Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced actuarial models for property/casualty and life insurance portfolios
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives including Solvency II and IFRS 17 implementations
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate machine learning into risk forecasting
- Present findings to C-suite executives and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior actuaries and develop departmental training programs
- Drive product innovation through scenario analysis and stress testing
- Oversee actuarial reserving processes and ensure audit compliance
Qualifications
- ASA or FSA designation with 5+ years of P&C or life insurance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, or SAS for actuarial modeling
- Deep understanding of insurance regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong business acumen with proven track record of stakeholder management
- MS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
- Relevant professional certifications (CERA, PRM, or CFA) highly valued
