Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies with high attention to detail.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and coordinate all necessary documentation requests efficiently.
- Manage intercompany transactions and maintain accurate fixed asset schedules.
- Support the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Identify process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency within the accounting department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or high-growth environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and federal regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
