Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies that align with brand objectives and sales targets for both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with buying, marketing, and store operations teams to ensure cohesive product launches, promotions, and visual merchandising standards.
- Manage product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life, including forecasting demand, planning inventory levels, and managing markdown strategies.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to maintain market relevance and identify emerging trends and best practices in retail merchandising.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring favorable terms, timely deliveries, and high-quality product offerings.
- Contribute to the creation of compelling visual merchandising guidelines and ensure their consistent implementation across all retail locations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, gross margin, and inventory turnover, providing actionable insights and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising, preferably within the premium or luxury goods sector.
- Proven ability to analyze complex sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
- Strong understanding of retail inventory management systems, product lifecycle, and visual merchandising principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and retail analytics software.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
