Join our award-winning luxury resort on the iconic Palm Jumeirah as we seek an exceptional Reservations Manager to lead our guest experience team. Azure Resort & Spa is renowned for its Arabian Gulf views and world-class hospitality, and we're looking for a dynamic leader to drive our reservation strategy while ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all aspects of the reservations department, from managing a high-performing team to optimizing occupancy rates through innovative strategies. You'll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations to create seamless guest journeys that begin the moment a reservation is made.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8+ reservation agents through performance coaching and training programs
- Optimize occupancy and revenue management strategies through dynamic pricing and market analysis
- Oversee end-to-end reservation processes across all platforms (direct, OTAs, corporate accounts)
- Implement and maintain reservation systems (Opera, Amadeus) with zero-error accuracy
- Analyze reservation data to identify trends and propose actionable growth initiatives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design promotional campaigns and packages
- Handle VIP guest inquiries and special requests with personalized service excellence
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and local hospitality regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years in hotel reservations with 2+ years in leadership role
- Proven expertise in revenue management and PMS systems (Opera, Amadeus)
- Exceptional communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency highly valued
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in market trend analysis
- Track record of exceeding occupancy and revenue targets
- Certification in Revenue Management (e.g., HSMAI) preferred
- Experience with luxury/resort properties in MENA region
