Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret complex data from life-support equipment.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and advanced therapies as ordered by physicians.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Provide critical bedside care and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions.
- Educate family members on patient status and post-discharge recovery strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with modern Electronic Health Record systems.
