Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret complex data from life-support systems.
- Administer advanced medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and document patient status with precision.
- Provide critical emotional support and education to patients and their families during stressful transitions.
- Manage rapid-response situations and code blue events with composure and clinical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards to maintain a sterile and effective environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in EMR software and modern patient monitoring equipment.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient safety and advocacy.
