Responsibilities
- Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring for critically ill patients.
- Manage complex ventilators and advanced life support equipment with precision.
- Execute rapid-response protocols and lead clinical interventions during emergencies.
- Collaborate with intensivists, pharmacists, and therapists to refine individualized care plans.
- Administer high-risk medications and titrate intravenous drips based on patient response.
- Document comprehensive clinical assessments accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Advocate for patient needs and provide empathetic support to families in crisis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center ICU.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using Epic EHR and advanced patient monitoring systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
