Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret complex diagnostic data to adjust care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists to optimize patient recovery.
- Administer advanced medications and maintain specialized life-support equipment.
- Educate patient families on prognosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all procedures and nursing interventions.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations and facility safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is highly desirable.
