Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement specialized patient care plans for critically ill patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer complex intravenous medications and manage advanced life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety briefings.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity medical setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN certification is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional critical thinking and rapid decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Proven ability to operate advanced monitoring and ventilator equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
