Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret complex data from life-support equipment.
- Administer critical medications and manage intravenous lines with precision.
- Collaborate with physicians and respiratory therapists to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Perform rapid assessments and respond effectively to emergency interventions.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions and recovery steps.
- Maintain precise, real-time documentation within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and patient privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care unit.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification is highly valued).
- Exceptional critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress medical environment.
