Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor hemodynamic stability and adjust interventions based on clinical trends.
- Administer advanced life-saving medications and manage mechanical ventilation support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and respiratory therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate families on patient conditions and ensure they are supported during difficult times.
- Maintain precise electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in ongoing unit training sessions.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
