Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated life-support equipment and monitoring systems.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient advocacy.
- Maintain precise electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety protocols.
