Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record patient conditions in a high-acuity intensive care environment.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Operate and monitor sophisticated medical equipment, including ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Administer medications and treatments precisely according to physician orders.
- Provide critical emotional support and education to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with high attention to detail and compliance.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement life-saving interventions as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively under extreme pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within diverse medical teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and clinical judgment.
