Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and therapeutic treatments as prescribed.
- Operate and interpret complex medical equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans.
- Provide critical bedside care and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Maintain sterile environments and strictly adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care or ICU setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-intensity, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
