Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate life-saving interventions.
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure, emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.
- Proficiency with modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
