Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and execute complex patient care plans.
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Maintain strictly confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work under high-pressure scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, specifically Epic or Cerner.
