Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and telemetry monitors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Document patient progress accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination.
- Proficiency with modern EHR platforms like Epic or Cerner.
