Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document the physical and emotional condition of critically ill patients.
- Administer complex medications, manage intravenous drips, and perform advanced life-support procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists to develop individualized care plans.
- Operate and interpret data from life-support equipment, including ventilators and bedside monitors.
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-discharge protocols with empathy and clarity.
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
