Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Manage complex life-support systems, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical recovery phases.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with hospital standards.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and bedside rounds.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and family members.
