Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement acute care plans for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vitals, adjust life-support equipment, and interpret complex data in real-time.
- Administer advanced medications and therapeutic treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide empathetic emotional support and clear communication to families during crisis situations.
- Maintain precise medical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital safety standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students during clinical rotations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity environment.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress, emergency scenarios.
- Strong technical proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
