Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret complex data to anticipate changes in condition.
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and specialists, to optimize patient care plans.
- Operate and maintain advanced life-support equipment, such as ventilators and bedside monitors.
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-discharge health management.
- Maintain precise, real-time electronic health records (EHR) following hospital compliance standards.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and lead resuscitation efforts when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to perform under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic or Cerner platforms.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care.
