Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Operate and interpret data from complex medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-discharge recovery.
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or Critical Care experience.
- Active BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure medical emergencies.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
