Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and interpret data from complex medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is maintained according to hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in emergency response teams and code blue procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with precision and grace.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically Epic.
