Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Interpret complex diagnostic tests and intervene appropriately in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain sterile equipment and ensure a safe, sanitary patient environment.
- Document all nursing activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Critical Care or ICU setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
