Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other specialized life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and respiratory therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer complex medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity clinical setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is a significant asset.
- Strong analytical, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure medical environment.
