Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and triage to determine medical priorities in high-pressure situations.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting the medical team to any critical changes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
