Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU unit
- Administer complex medications and monitor life-support equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR system
- Provide education to patients and families on post-acute care procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and NYSDOH regulatory standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Valid New York State RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation system
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
