Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill patients within our 24-bed state-of-the-art ICU.
- Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms with absolute precision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists and specialists, to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
- Administer complex titration medications and manage advanced life-support equipment including ventilators and CRRT.
- Advocate for patient needs and provide empathetic support and education to families in high-stress situations.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in unit-based clinical quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact license eligibility).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, ER, or high-acuity critical care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification highly preferred).
- Proven ability to maintain composure and make rapid, accurate decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (Epic preferred).
