Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill patients within our 24-bed state-of-the-art ICU.
  • Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms with absolute precision.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists and specialists, to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer complex titration medications and manage advanced life-support equipment including ventilators and CRRT.
  • Advocate for patient needs and provide empathetic support and education to families in high-stress situations.
  • Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in unit-based clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact license eligibility).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, ER, or high-acuity critical care setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to maintain composure and make rapid, accurate decisions in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (Epic preferred).
