Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Respond to emergency situations with calm precision and execute protocols effectively.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting (ICU/Telemetry preferred).
- BSN degree preferred or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
