Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients' conditions using advanced telemetry systems
- Administer specialized cardiac medications and interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active NY State RN license (required)
- BSN degree or higher (preferred)
- 2+ years cardiac ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
