Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with precision
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Minnesota
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
