Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients across all treatment phases
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies per protocol
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage side effects of cancer treatments
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years oncology experience considered)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care oncology experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
