Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans using evidence-based practices
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams for complex oncology cases
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and psychosocial support
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Oncology nursing certification (OCN) or commitment to obtain within 12 months
- Minimum 2 years oncology nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
