Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications with precision, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout the treatment continuum.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage crises.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical or Acute Care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
